Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati, Assam (USA to Guwahati)

  • Fly from the USA: Board your international flight from the USA to Guwahati (with layovers as per airline schedules).
  • Arrival: Upon arrival at Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, you will be greeted by our tour representative.
  • Check-in: Transfer to your hotel for check-in.
  • Evening: Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple, an important Shakti Peeth. Enjoy a cruise on the Brahmaputra River for an evening sunset view.
  • Overnight Stay: Guwahati

Day 2: Guwahati to Kaziranga National Park (Drive: 4-5 hours)

  • Morning: Drive to Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for the highest population of the one-horned rhinoceros.
  • Afternoon: Check into the jungle lodge. After lunch, enjoy a jeep safari in the park’s central range.
  • Evening: Relax and enjoy local cultural performances (Bihu dance).

Day 3: Kaziranga National Park

  • Early Morning: Enjoy an elephant safari to explore the dense grasslands and spot rhinos, elephants, and tigers.

Day 4: Kaziranga to Shillong, Meghalaya (Drive: 7 hours)

  • Evening: Arrive in Shillong and explore the Ward’s Lake and Police Bazaar (a popular shopping destination).

Day 5: Shillong to Cherrapunjee (Drive: 2 hours)

Day 6: Cherrapunjee to Shillong

Day 7: Shillong to Tezpur (Drive: 5-6 hours)

  • Evening: Arrive in Tezpur and enjoy a leisurely stroll along the riverfront.

Day 8: Tezpur to Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh (Drive: 8-9 hours)

  • Evening: Arrive in Tawang, a tranquil town known for its Buddhist monasteries.
